Tail: Black marabou

Body: Peacock herl

Hackle: Ginger/ dark ginger

Back: Full length iridescent green quill fibers, (alternately 3/4 length and/or clear or flash back – see 2nd picture below)

Head: optional bead-head

Description: This fly pattern could basically be considered a tied-down baby bugger. It was first developed for trout in the off-colored waters of afternoon thunderstorms in the Rockies, though fishes well in any conditions and I fish it often as a stone imitation.
